The world would be a better place if we made space for people to be who they are. It would be better if there weren’t quite so many terms that divide us. We need to give people the space to shine and grow on their own time, in their own way. We need to make room for everyone.
The flip side of that is people need to learn to be comfortable and powerful in their skin instead of deriving power from siphoning it from others. If you loved yourself more–if you cultivated more inner peace, strength, and confidence–you would not be so hellbent on finding folks you can come have power over.
Humanity does not have a scarcity problem, we have a greed problem. If we all spent a little more time working to dismantle the greed instead of being taken under by the contrived scarcity, the world would literally be a better place. Ninety percent of the world’s problems were created by gluttons with too much money and not enough morals. Meanwhile, the rest of us are forced to hustle and duke it out like crabs in a barrel. The system is rigged and has been for centuries.
Lastly, the sci-fi genre is a little bit prophetic. I am willing to bet we’ll have a full on iRobot or Star Trek situation before the Rapture starts. It’s not all fiction. It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy.
That’s it. That’s the post.
